Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri has been a popular Indian actress who has gained notoriety for her roles in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. She began her career in the 1980s and came to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film in which she appeared with veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. In her early years she began learning at an early stage. When she was young, she started acting but struggled as many of her films were flops. Eventually, she found success with Indian cinema and rose to the very top. The actress took a hiatus from acting after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. She was a key character on Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won eight of the awards. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India was awarded to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her charitable work as well.
