Her birth date is 29 March 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina Michelle was her first name. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican and American. From the time she was a kid, she has had a strong determination to be involved in sports. Gerina began playing golf after she was 15 years old. Gerina finished her high-school education through Goddard High School. She was the winner of New Mexico's state golf championship. A volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. 2003was the year she started her studies at the University of Texas. As a senior she was a winner of every tournament she entered. While in her university career, she was awarded Conference USA individual champion player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athletics Player of the Year.
