Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. She remained dominant, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision and the Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
